Lynn L. Bergeson is managing partner of Bergeson &Campbell, PC (B&C®), a Washington, D.C. law firm concentrating onconventional, nanoscale, and biobased chemicals and chemical products. She hasearned an international reputation for her deep and expansive understanding ofthe Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide,and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), European Union Registration, Evaluation,Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), and especially how theseregulatory programs pertain to nanotechnology and other emergingtransformative technologies.
Ms. Bergeson is former Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (2005 - 2006) and current Vice Chair of the Section's Committee on Pesticides, Chemical Regulation, and Right-to-Know, and serves in other ABA leadership capacities. In 2019, Ms. Bergeson became President of the Product Stewardship Society, a professional organization devoted to enhancing the role of product stewardship, a position Ms. Bergeson will occupy until 2021. Ms. Bergeson is an inductee of the American College of Environmental Lawyers, and is listed in The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers (2006 - 2015), Super Lawyers (2008 - 2017), and Chambers USA (2005 - 2018). Ms. Bergeson is a graduate of Michigan State University (B.A., magna cum laude), and the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America, where she was a member of the Law Review. She is admitted to the bar of the District of Columbia and several federal circuit courts.
Ms. Bergeson is also President of The Acta Group,B&C's scientific and regulatory consulting affiliate, and President of B&CConsortia Management, LLC, which helps the chemical industry form consortia toachieve shared research, testing, regulatory, and access goals. Oct 2018
