Jonathan A. Grode is US Practice Manager for Green and Spiegel LLB, managing their offices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Providence, Rhode Island. He provides legal counsel and case management for a wide range of corporate and non-profit clients, ranging from individuals and small businesses through to multi-national corporations, assisting with the attainment of non-immigrant visas such as H-1B, H-2B, J-1, L-1, O-1 and TN matters, and immigrant visas such as EB-1 & PERM. He also possesses significant expertise in dealing with DOL and DHS enforcement actions, and EB-5 regional centers.
Formerly a Senior Associate Attorney at Goldblum & Hess and head of their Non-immigrant Team, Jonathan has over 12 years of business immigration law experience. He has worked continuously in immigration law since graduating magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1999. He graduated first in his class from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2008, where he received numerous awards including the prestigious Albert J. Bricklin Award.
Jonathan is President of AIJA’s Immigration Sub-Commission, Co-Chair of ABA’s Labor and Employment Law Immigration Committee and Co-Chair of the New Members Division of AILA’s Philadelphia Chapter. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he teaches Business Immigration Law and Advising Global Corporations. He has published extensively and is a regular presenter at national and international ABA conferences (most recently at Atlanta in November 2012), as well as at local AILA seminars and meetings.
Jonathan has distinguished himself through his work as the Case Author and a Presiding Judge for the Pennsylvania Statewide Mock Trial Competition, where he has written the past 6 state cases, as well as the 2010 and 2012 national cases.
