Ms. Gans is an Attorney in the Federal Trade Commission's Division of Marketing Practices. She focuses in the areas of deceptive online advertising and telephone solicitations, unauthorized billing practices, and emerging payment methods. She interfaces with Congress on various policy issues, and serves as the Program Manager for the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, handling both enforcement and rule making. Prior to joining the FTC, Ms. Gans advised clients on various antitrust and consumer protection issues, including distribution issues, information sharing arrangements, and merger integration planning.
