Francine D. Ward is a business and intellectual property attorney with a focus on copyrights, trademarks, publishing, entertainment, and social media legal issues. She works primarily with business owners, entrepreneurs, and creative people helping them protect their content, their brand, and their businesses.
A practicing lawyer for over 28 years, Francine is a 1989 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. She’s admitted to practice in New York, California, and the District of Columbia.
An active member of the ABA, Francine serves on the Advisory Board to the ABA’s Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs and is a leader in the Intellectual Property Law Section, where she is a member of the IP Council and Chair of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Committee.
In addition, she is a visiting professor at the California Desert Trial Academy College of Law, where she teaches IP and contract Drafting.
In her spare time, Francine is working on her third book, a crime novel.
