Alison joined the Fordham Law Library in August 2007 as a reference librarian after receiving her JD and MSLS from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Her particular interest is in foreign, international, and comparative law with a focus on European competition law. Prior to arriving at Fordham, she interned with the International Monetary Fund and the Federal Trade Commission, as well as the Commission for Aviation Regulation and Competition Authority, both in Dublin, Ireland. Alison teaches a number of sections of both basic and advanced legal research courses on a variety of topics, including administrative law, US legal research for LLMs, and foreign and international law. She also provides research assistance to Barry Hawk and the Fordham Competition Law Institute.
