Millie Ronnlund is an associate in the Birmingham office and a member of the nuclear energy, energy and energy litigation sections. Her practice focuses on new nuclear plant development, including licensing before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the negotiation and administration of engineering, procurement and construction agreements, as well as regulatory compliance both during the construction of new plants and for operating reactors. She has experience in contract administration and contract performance disputes, particularly in the context of utility contracts involving both contractual and regulatory obligations. Additionally, Ms. Ronnlund has advised clients regarding the effect of new regulations and force majeure declarations on coal supply contracts. Her practice also includes related work with clients on regulatory and compliance issues, including Nuclear Regulatory Commission security and construction regulations and representing nuclear plant owners and operators on nuclear regulatory compliance including authorization for the international exchange of nuclear information from the Department of Energy. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law (J.D., 2008) and Rhodes College (B.A., 2005).
