Robert J. MacPherson entered the practice of law in 1980 and since then has been focused on construction matters, primarily the prevention and resolution of disputes arising out of construction projects. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey. He also acts as a mediator and arbitrator of construction disputes.He is on the American Arbitration Association's Construction Industry Arbitrators Panel. He is active in the ABA's Forum on Construction and is a Past Chair of the Forum. The New Jersey Bar Association's Dispute Resolution Section named him James B. Boskey ADR Practioner of the Year in 2001. He is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers.
