Marshall Grodner is a Member in McGlinchey Stafford’s Baton Rouge office. He is a leading voice in commercial and secured transactions, commercial finance, opinion letters and commercial real estate.
Marshall currently serves as Chair of the Commercial Finance Committee of the ABA Business Law Section, Vice President of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers, Secretary of the American College of Real Estate Lawyer’s Attorneys’ Opinion Committee, and Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Litigation and Ethics Group of the Real Property Division of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Section of the ABA. He is the Immediate Past President of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys. Marshall also served as Co-Chair, Joint Task Force on Deposit Account Control Agreements of the ABA Business Law Section and is known for his experience in secured lending and ethics in the transactional context. He has authored or co-authored several articles in law reviews and other publications, and has delivered lectures and papers throughout the country dealing with, secured transactions, opinion letters and ethics and professionalism in the transactional context. Marshall is a Contributing Reporter to Uniform Commercial Code Opinions in Real Estate Finance Transactions, 53 Real Prop. Tr & Est. L.J. 163(2018/2019).
