Ricardo Barretto Ferreira da Silva was admitted to practice in 1973, São Paulo, Brazil. Education: São Paulo University (USP) Law School; Institute of World Affairs, Connecticut, U.S., 1973; Post-graduation studies on Taxation and Corporate Law at University of North Dakota, U.S., 1974–1975. He is a senior partner at Azevedo Sette Advogados ( ). He was an editor and coauthor of Computer Law in Latin America, published by the Computer Law Association, Inc. (, Washington, D.C., U.S., January 1998. Ricardo was the coeditor of the book Doing Business in Brazil published by the ABA (, 2002; coeditor of the book A Legal Guide to Doing Business in South America, first and second editions published by the ABA (, 2011 and 2015, respectively.
