Mori Rubin is the Regional Director for Region
31 of the National Labor Relations Board. She is responsible for
enforcement of the nation’s primary labor law covering private sector employees
in the jurisdiction of Region 31, which serves portions of Los Angeles and six
other counties in Southern California.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate of UCLA, Ms.
Rubin earned a BA in economics with Phi Beta Kappa honors. She graduated in
1980 from the University of California Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall),
where she served as the Research and Reviews Editor for the Industrial
Relations Law Journal (now called the Berkeley Journal of Employment and
Labor Law). Ms. Rubin started her career with the NLRB in October 1980 as a
Field Attorney in Region 31. Since that time, she served as a Supervisory
Attorney, Deputy Regional Attorney, and Regional Attorney before being
appointed Regional Director in May of 2012.
Ms. Rubin regularly speaks at conferences about legal
developments under the NLRA.
