Marie Antoinette Moore is a partner in the New Orleans law firm of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C. where she practices in the area of real estate and general transactional law. Ms. Moore served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert S. Vance of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. She also served as a member of the Louisiana State Law Institute's Committee for Revision of the Louisiana Civil Code Articles on lease and assisted in drafting the new lease code articles that became effective on January 1, 2005. Ms. Moore is a member of the Council of the Real Property Trust & Estate Section and a member of that Section's CLE and Diversity Committees, as well as the Last Word editor for Probate & Property magazine. She is a Fellow in the Americal College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) and a member of its Board of Governors. She was the co-founder and inaugural chair of New Orleans Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and is a past chair of Louisiana ULI. Ms. Moore is a member of ICSC and has been a speaker at Seminars and Workshops at a number of ICSC Law Conferences. She is a member of the Louisiana and Alabama bars and practices in the areas of commercial, leasing and real estate, construction, lending, and general commercial transactions.
