Alicia Downey's solo practice, Downey Law LLC (www.downeylawllc.com), helps clients develop antitrust-compliant pricing and marketing strategies, minimum advertised price (MAP) policies, joint ventures, and distribution agreements in diverse industries such as consumer goods, medical devices, motor vehicles, and high technology. Her merger experience includes analyzing and obtaining clearance of proposed transactions involving competitors in various sectors, including retailing, enterprise software, and processed foods.

Alicia frequently speaks in continuing legal education teleseminars and conferences on antitrust and distribution-related topics. Alicia has held leadership positions in the Section of Antitrust Law of the American Bar Association as a member of the Section Council and chair of the Pricing Conduct Committee. She currently chairs the Compliance and Ethics Committee of the ABA Antitrust Law Section and serves as the ABA Business Law Section Liaison to the Antitrust Law Section.
Alicia received her J.D. from Boston College Law School and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Harvard University. Prior to entering private practice, she was a law clerk to Justice Herbert P. Wilkins of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
