Dave Faux practices Intellectual Property, Entertainment, Art, and Business/Commercial Law. His past and present clients include individuals and organizations involved in such creative industries as fashion, jewelry, theatre, intuitive counseling, sports & fitness, visual arts, and film. He also represents the intellectual property concerns of brokerage firms, private educational institutions, public relations firms, online app" companies, antique dealers, vineyards, and more. He serves as founder and Co-Chair for the New York State Bar Association's Fashion Law Committee and Vice-Chair of the America Bar Association's Dramatic Arts & Visual Arts Committee.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Dave spent several years as a music journalist and then a publicist in the Northwest. He holds both a Master of Science and Master of Arts degree and spent a year in South Korea as a Fulbright Fellow. His years in the entertainment and arts industries as an entrepreneur, scholar, and international traveler inform his approach to the law, giving him an insight not achieved by most other lawyers.
