Susana Cabrera is a partner at J&A Garrigues where she is a member of the EU and Competition Law Department. She has advised Spanish and international clients on a wide variety of EU and Spanish competition law matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance, distribution practices, state aids or compliance issues. She frequently lectures in competition law at the Instituto de Empresa, Madrid, and at other LL.M programs and Universities. She is actively involved in the American Bar Association's Section of International Law, holding leadership positions as co-chair of the International Antitrust Law Committee, member of the Section's Publications' Board and Liaison to the Consejo General de la Abogacía.
Susana holds an LL.M. in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium). She received her legal education from the Complutense University where she obtained her Law Degree and from San Pablo CEU University where she obtained a Diploma in Business Administration. She was also educated at the École Supérieur de Commerce Extérieur in Paris where she received the European Business Certificate and at Konstanz University in Germany as part of her legal studies with an Erasmus Scholarship. She is recognized in international legal directories including Chambers, International Who's Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists, PLC Which Lawyer Global Competition Review or Best Lawyers.
