Adrian L. Bastianelli, III is the co-managing partner of the Washington, D.C. office of Peckar & Abramson, P.C. Mr. Bastianelli is Chair of the Forum on the Construction Industry, a fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers, past president of the Washington Building Congress, and a past editor of The Construction Lawyer and the Journal of the American College of Construction Lawyers. Mr. Bastianelli received his BSCE degree from Purdue University and his J.D. degree from the University of Louisville. He worked as an engineer on claims for the Corps of Engineers, served as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Claims, and has been in the private practice of law specializing in construction and government law for more than 35 years. Mr. Bastianelli also has an active ADR practice, having served as a mediator, arbitrator, and DRB member on over 300 disputes, including many involving the federal government. Mr. Bastianelli writes and lectures regularly on construction, government contract, and ADR topics.
