Bio

Corinne E. Atton has extensive experience advising clients in complex, high-stakes commercial and patent litigations, and arbitrations.  Corinne has advised on a wide variety of technologies, with a particular focus on climate change mitigation technologies, biotechnology, biologics and pharmaceuticals.    

 

Corinne is an accomplished litigator and trial attorney.  She has represented clients before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit, and various U.S. district courts.  She has also represented clients in inter partes review (IPR) and post-grant review (PGR) proceedings before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board (the administrative law body of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office). 

 

Corinne formerly practiced as a barrister in England and Wales where she represented clients in high-stakes patent, trademark, and commercial litigation, and international arbitration matters.  While working in the U.K., she represented clients before the Court of Appeal (England and Wales), the Chancery Division (Patents Court) of the High Court of Justice of England and Wales, and the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court.  

 

Before joining Draper & Draper, Corinne was a litigator for more than a decade at WilmerHale in London and New York, and at Weil, Gotshal and Manges, and Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper and Scinto in New York. 

 

Corinne has a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Human Genetics from University College London (UCL), and a Master of Laws degree from Columbia Law School (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar). 

 

Corinne is admitted to the bar in New York, and in England and Wales; and has rights of audience before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit, S.D.N.Y, E.D.N.Y, and all courts in England and Wales, including the U.K. Supreme Court.
