Kristen M. Blankley is an associateprofessor at the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she teaches on a wide variety of alternative dispute resolution and ethics topics, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and legal ethics. She is a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Professor Blankley's scholarship focuses on a wide variety of alternative dispute resolution and ethics issues, including arbitration preemption, limited scope representation, class action arbitrations, judicial review of arbitration awards, mediation ethics, and mediation confidentiality, as well as ethics for arbitration participants, and the restrains on bad behavior" by advocates and clients in arbitration. Professor Blankley is currently the co-chair of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution Ethics Subcommittee, and she is active on the ABA Law Student Division Arbitration Competition Committee. She is a mediator, a FINRA arbitrator and a certified resolution officer for the State of Nebraska's Commission of Industrial Relations.
