My practice as a Partner at Axinn, Veltrop, & Harkrider focuses on antitrust litigation and government conduct and merger investigations. I have over sixteen years of experience, including representing defendants and plaintiffs in high-stakes litigations and representing companies in domestic and foreign investigations. I also worked as an expert consultant for technology companies while in academia and have trained approximately 500 foreign judges and competition enforcers on antitrust law and economics.
Prior to joining Axinn, I was the Director of Antitrust Policy & Litigation at Qualcomm Incorporated. I previously served at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission as an Attorney Advisor to Commissioner Joshua D. Wright and as Counsel for Intellectual Property & International Antitrust. I also served as the Director of the Global Antitrust Institute at George Mason University School of Law. Prior to government service, I spent almost a decade in private practice, focusing on antitrust litigation and government investigations with a particular focus on issues affecting clients in the technology and financial industries.
Since 2009, I have held various leadership positions within the ABA Antitrust Law Section. For a list of my testimony and publications, see https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/cf_dev/AbsByAuth.cfm?per_id=2061252.
